The mission of the American Bonanza Society Air Safety Foundation is to protect lives and preserve the Beechcraft fleet.
The Foundation supports the safe operation, maintenance, and ownership of Beechcraft® Bonanza, Debonair, Baron, and Travel Air aircraft. Through focused education and practical resources, ASF helps members make better decisions in the cockpit, in the hangar, and throughout the life of their aircraft.
Since 1979, the nonprofit Foundation has served as a continuing source of type-specific aviation safety education for the Beechcraft community.

Training for safer flying
Type-specific courses, seminars, webinars, and continuing education help pilots better understand their airplanes, strengthen proficiency, and manage risk.
Knowledge for a healthier fleet
Mechanic training, aircraft evaluations, inspection resources, and technical guidance help identify issues before they become larger problems.
Preparing Beechcraft instructors
ASF equips flight instructors with the type-specific knowledge and teaching resources they need to train Beechcraft pilots effectively.

Put Your Gear Down is one example of the Foundation’s targeted safety work. The campaign brings pilots, owners, and mechanics together around the habits, training, inspection practices, and technologies that can prevent landing gear mishaps.
